Campaign for the protection of our trees: a great success!

 

The Board of the Friends of Wychwood community association offers its thanks to the numerous residents of the community who took part in the awareness campaign on the importance of protecting our magnificent trees.  The campaign, between September 18 and October 8, invited residents of the 650 households of Wychwood to place a sign on their yard supporting to the protection of trees. In four days, we received requests for 110 signs (on 120 printed), distributed across the neighbourhood. We are thrilled by this strong show of interest in the protection of the wooded character and nature of Wychwood.    

Since the end of the 90’s, the mandate of the Friends of Wychwood, recognized by the City, is centred on the protection of trees in our neighbourhood. Thanks to all for your support!
