Bravo, Mr Fergus and Mr Fortin!

 

I’d like to call attention to the excellent work done by Aylmer’s MNA, André Fortin, and MP, Greg Fergus.  Both men are young, dynamic, and attend events in Aylmer frequently.  

I’ve been in politics for a long time and come from a political family—my father was the mayor of Aylmer—and I’ve never seen such hardworking members of Parliament or the provincial assembly.  They both listen to their constituents’ concerns, and they represent this sector well.  

Mr Fortin, from Quyon, has a deep understanding of Pontiac issues and of Aylmer’s; he is raising a family here and served with the Terrasse Lakeview tenants’ association and the Garderie de la Marina.  

Mr Fergus is also close to Aylmer, as a volunteer and member of St. Mark’s Church; he is often called on by the media to comment on Aylmer concerns.  

These two intelligent, dedicated men decided to leave the more lucrative private sector to serve their communities.

They say that people get the representation they deserve.  Well, the people of Aylmer should give themselves a pat on the back for electing two outstanding representatives.
