Boucher Forest basics
It seems like a lot of resources were spent in making the announcement for the Boucher Forest’s anniversary. I was parked at that same spot this past winter (in front of the house on the street where the Bulletin’s photo was taken). When I got out of the car, I was accosted by the homeowner. Someone should inform him that this area is for use by all citizens – even those who have to drive to get there! Or someone should ask city council to remove the no-parking signs along the Vanier side of Antoine-Boucher Road. The fact that there is no parking anywhere on the Vanier side of the Forest on public roads is not a good way to promote use of the Forest. It’s really not appreciated, being accosted while carrying a 20-month-old baby just for trying to enjoy nature.
