Best of Aylmer 

I was in attendance at the Best of Aylmer awards celebration last week at Golf Gatineau – what an impressive event!   

My wife and I entered our votes, and it was interesting to see which of us were in agreement with the rest of Aylmer.  This is a super way to celebrate all the folks who make our sector the great community it is (I refer to the praise for our flood-defence network!).  Small business people are the heroes, working long hours under great risk and stress, and this gives our community an economic base. With a base, there is no community. They need and deserve our thanks, like the Best of Aylmer awards.  It seemed like your entire staff was helping out.

Our business infrastructure counts on your newspaper!  You are doing a great community service for all of Gatineau.  Thank you!
