Best of Aylmer brings out the best -- and worst

 

I thoroughly enjoyed your Aylmer awards last Tuesday evening but I was flummoxed to hear the Mayor of Gatineau sing the praises of this event and yet, when I look on the program, I see there are about 15 sponsors cooperating to support these awards – and not one sponsoring from the city.  Way to go, Mr Mayor!  How to NOT put your money where your mouth is!  Anybody else see this as pure political hypocrisy?
