Hundreds gathered at the Bamboo restaurant on November 7 to celebrate the eatery’s 40th anniversary! That evening, many current and former Aylmer residents gathered to enjoy a meal and reminisce about old times. During the service, one guest from each table had to publicly share a memory about Aylmer’s famous restaurant. Past and present staff also talked about their time spent working at the restaurant and about the Seto family’s outstanding hospitality. During the dinner, a 50/50 pot of $1,000 was collected. Half went to staff and the other half went to a lucky guest. (LRC)
