LETTER
Aylmer streets a shame
Disturbing condition of Aylmer streets can no longer be tolerated. Because Aylmer residents are pro-Canada and old Gatineau elected PQ deputies to the Quebec National Assembly, I think we can expect very little interest from a Mayor whose father-in-law, Bernard Landry, was a PQ Premier of Quebec.
If what I suspect is really the case, it is nothing less than cheap petty politics.
Vanier between the Aylmer Rd and Lucerne Blvd is nothing less than a degraded dangerous pothole roller coaster.
This situation is an insult to the taxpayers of Aylmer.
This condition is unacceptable and needs council’s immediate attention.
May I remind Mayor Pedneaud-Jobin that he is responsible for the good administration of Gatineau as a whole. If Vanier Road is not resurfaced this summer, it will prove I am right and we are run by a pettifogging Council no longer worthy of holding office.
