Aylmer’s pool to open -- after recurring closures

Aylmer’s Paul Pelletier Pool (325 Aylmer Road) has faced sporadic closures since mid-May of this year, due to a recurring malfunction in the building’s ventilation system. The pool has been closed to the public since the middle of June. The City says that it is assessing the problem and an in-house team will proceed with the required repairs. The problem was expected to be resolved by the beginning of July, when the pool was to  return to its normal summer schedule.
