Aylmer’s Jazz Festival filled to capacity

Aylmerites flocked to Parc de l’Imaginaire near the Marina for a series of free concerts. Funk-a-Tron 5000, Miguel de Armas, Terez Montcalm and Petr Cancura graced the stage in the art park’s gazebo. Pictured above is the international jazz flavours of Petr Cancura, who took the stage July 29. The park also provided a stage for a free world music festival, a rythmes of the world series as well as the jazz. Two more free shows are on for this summer; the University of Mexico in Canada Choral on August 3 and Kiran Ahluwalia on August 10. Shows are at 7:30 in the park, bring lawn chairs if wanted.
