Aylmer Road & Bordeau Street

 

Since Galeries Aylmer has only one entrance into its parking lot and the same exit (since we lost Canadian Tire), why doesn’t the city put an arrow at the traffic lights at the corner of Principale and Bordeau Street?

There is so much traffic coming up Bordeau to the lights at Principale that, when you need to turn left onto Principale, you are stuck there forever because there is only one exit out of the Galeries. We are no longer just 10,000 people in Aylmer; once Gatineau took over, everyone wants to live here!

So wake up, people working for the city in traffic control: make the change!

If you have to pay someone to sit at the corner and count how long it takes to turn down Principal from Bordeau, then do it!

Someone is sleeping at the switch, again. I have been a resident of Aylmer all my life, and it is sad that Gatineau took over but there’s nothing we can do now.
