Aylmer Marina restaurant, say it isn’t so!

 

I just came across your article about the lease being up for the Marina (restaurant) and that it will close in 2018.  I could just cry.

I love that place so much – where else can you have a nice meal and then dance outside in the breeze, and walk by the boats or on the beach, all in one place? Every time I go there, I feel like I have saved on airfare because it’s like a vacation.

And I also love the mix of people, fashions and ages there. There are couples dressed up for their date, then there are the people who just went swimming or have parked their boat, and they are in t-shirts, shorts and flipflops. Anything goes. So relaxing!

I hope the renovations are done quickly and I hope the results still give the same ambience, because the Aylmer Marina is an absolute gem.
