Aylmer à la carte : community efforts to fund food help

Some $51,000 was raised during a massive fund-raising effort for Meals on Wheels and for the Aylmer Food Bank, May 12. The last big effort was Saturday night’s gala dinner at the DoubleTree by Hilton. While organizers, headed by former MP Nycole Turmel and Galeries Aylmer general manager Guy Leblanc, raised money during the lead-up as well as at the event, donations are still very much needed in this campaign.

The money is being used for keeping the two organizations going, a task requiring volunteers, donations, services and funding. To help in any of these areas, contact the organizations directly.
