Aylmer drivers worst in the city?
I wasn’t a bit surprised to read that Aylmer is the sector of the city with the worst drivers. No wonder the city is installing signs to force drivers to slow down here. But what about drivers who break the law? I saw in the Bulletin that police are cracking down on texting and driving – that’s excellent news. Are the police also ticketing at pedestrian crosswalks? Enforcement is an important part of improving driving – scare drivers into behaving! But why are these drivers even allowed to buy a car? Is it so hard to know when to stop for a pedestrian? Are bad drivers simply not seeing pedestrians – or other cars at four-way stops? If drivers aren’t seeing these, I should get more scared!
Aylmer needs a massive education campaign that everyone can get behind. This is everyone’s problem, thank you for putting it in the public’s eye – keep up the good work.
