Aylmer CIVITAN Club 

 

Aylmer’s “Citizen of the Year” This is the 37th year that the Aylmer CIVITAN club looks into our community to discover a new outstanding citizen to recognize with this award. Last year we were pleased to make this award to Mr. Jacques Coderre a long time community volunteer working in sports and for AYDELU. Congratulations again Jacques! Forms are available from club members and directly from Civitan Lynda Beaudry at 819-684-9971, l.medaglia@videotron.ca. The forms must be completed and your nominations returned to the Civitan club at CP 246, Gatineau, QC, J9H 5E6 no later than March 15, 2015.

 

Civitan’s motto is “Builders of Good Citizenship”. There are many people who are very active in our community, making it a better place to work and play. These volunteers, generous in their giving of time, and often resources, are role models of good character. They are saying to us, “Get out. Get Involved. Have fun! Volunteer and make a difference.” Become a part of your community and you will find that there are many good hearted people who keep Aylmer a vibrant, friendly community like no other.
