Aylmer celebrates Canada Day!

 

For the first time in recent memory, Canada Day was celebrated in Old Aylmer, July 1. With a parade down rue Principale and a veterans’ march, the day continued with face-painting, games and live music. The festivities were at two sites; the Memorial Park and the Aylmer Legion. Organized by the Aylmer Legion, a focus on honouring heros, heritage and military display was a natural fit.
