LETTER
Aylmer and you and me
Hello, this is Mai Sato again. Thank you for using my letter about the Supermoon last year! As I'm leaving Canada and going back to my home in Japan today, I want to say thank you to everyone for everything that has made my journey unforgettable.
I came here last summer by myself. It wasn't easy. Maybe I had uncomfortable times more than happy times. But still, I love this small town Aylmer where you live.
I've learned lots of things from you all: English, French, piano, dance, skating, how to swim, how to ride the inconvenient STO, tips to survive the very cold winter, tips to survive an aggressive baby, to say no when I don't want to, about family, etc. And above all of them, I've learned how important it is to have "love". Family, friends, lovers, colleagues or even relationships which can't be named. If we have love for each other, we can respect each other, we can think about each other, we can do something to make each other happy, we can listen to each other, we can laugh and cry with each other, and we can hug each other.
That's what I've learned here. which keeps me stronger in my life.
To be honest, I feel sad to leave here, more than excited to go home. However, I am not too anxious to say goodbye anymore, because I believe this won't be my last time to be here, to be with you. Thank you again. It made me strong that my life was with you. Farewell until we meet again.
Dear my dears I've met,
Dear my another sky Aylmer,
Forever in my heart...
