An end to straight-line thinking and seeing?

 

“Multiple Sculpture” may be a new phenomena in Art – its origin was in 1969 (with my own work). I know nothing is really new in Nature. And its offshoot, call it “multiple thought”, presented itself at least as early as the times of (Monarch) Maria-Theresa and the Hungarian uprising.

Though it presented itself only as a “Duoset” (as did Mr Ryan’s recent editorial, operating within two points of view to understand the lives and plans of politicians), or “Variableset” (my own work, Rasto 1969-87), all are based on the basic democratic principles of choice. Thus concluded the message of the monarch in regard to hanging or freeing the leader of the uprising. You may find this profitable to research --the delivered message and response of the monarch were very simple, devoid of all symbols like commas, periods, question marks or exclamations marks. This created a puzzle for the Council because the monarch was clear of responsibility. It was placed on the Council: the death or life of the leader, and their decision’s consequences (e.g. rebellions, etc.). All are multiplicities.

That case is just an initiation to “Duoset” thinking, and our understanding of it. Now imagine what will happen when we switch to “Multiple”.  We are in the predicament of doing a high-wire act without a safety net. The net was what I was trying to develop, and it affects our human species, us.

So we all have problems understanding President Trump, Putin, and all the other adversaries in the world. Just think in multiple ways and expand all horizons; that may help.
