Almost “best”

 

I was at your Best of Aylmer gala party, just like Mr Istis who wrote in with praise, but my experience was different.

Mostly, I was upset because there was not enough English. This gives the impression about the size of the English population in Aylmer and Gatineau. We make up a large part of the market for local shopping, contractors, snow-plowing, etc.  The English population should not be misrepresented.

I also think there should have been more tables. They are more comfortable than rows of chairs.

As for the complaints about the Mayor’s speech, I didn’t notice it at all. Mr Fergus made the best speech.
