Adrenaline+ sets sights on June 1 opening

The Hajjar Centre construction project, underway for several months adjacent to the professional centre at 2 Castelbeau Road, is almost complete. The first of the complex’s four businesses will be the Adrenaline+ amusement centre, which will see its first visitors June 1st.

Led by Ibrahim and Juliette Nader, with the support of Jean Hajjar, Adrenaline+ is a multi-activity area that includes laser games, a ninja obstacle course, a foam pit, sumo arena, modern arcade area, a space reserved for the Time Freak reflex game, as well as a fully-loaded canteen.

The original trampoline area in the plans will not go ahead for insurance reasons, and will be replaced by a Ballocity zone. Ballocity is a space that allows children to propel or throw thousands of soft foam balls with blasters, vacuums, fountains, cannons, and interactive buckets.

“The activities offered here will keep families in Aylmer and Gatineau,” said Ms Nadar. “At the moment, our families have to drive for these amusements and activities, either across the river to Ottawa or all the way to Montreal.”

The site is near the Rivermead Parc-o-Bus, which will allow Aylmer youth to apply for a job easily accessible by bike or bus. More information will be available on activities and bookings within a few weeks.
