A word from the Terry Fox Run: Getting ready for the next one
The Terry Fox Run has grown so much since the early days. When the run started in 2003 there were several dozen participants with several thousand dollars raised. The event has become a major event for the region with over 700 participants and volunteers and $35,000 raised in 2016 for cancer research. These were the second best results for the entire province behind only Montreal.
To maintain the momentum of 2016 and ensure the continuity of the Gatineau Terry Fox Run, volunteers are needed more than ever for many different tasks leading up to and for the event itself on Sunday, September 17.
