LETTER
A Vice-Prime Minister?
It is year 2017 and, based on voices in this letters section of the Bulletin, as a society we have failed! The score of 3:1 indicates that I was once again lynched by emotionally-charged contributors for my thinking. The first was in 1981 with Ottawa Citizen articles titled: “Artist's Ideas beyond reach”, and “Perseverance pays off”. The score was 1:1 plus a good article in the Bulletin, November 1981. After that, I left the Canadian art scene for the international, and proved that my ideas were successful beyond any doubt!
How can we form any opinion about our PM, who is in a precarious situation facing this new world? Will you join in 'wolfing' with our press -- a very unreasonable act -- or will you give him the necessary slack to conduct his orchestra to prove his qualities of the captain in the perils of dangerous waters? Will you give him your trust? I do and I will! Or, will you join the ranks of speculative 'snake oil salesmen' with the only goal is to pray at the pedestal of money. My own opinion is based on the reality of the economy, presented policies and his good will to contribute to our fragile democracy.
Tough times are ahead and it will need cooperation, patience and understanding. Mr Mulcair, you are an experienced navigator, let us break a few rules in the old constitution based on Westminster’s vision and introduce an addition, something like Vice-PM from NDP.
