A thank-you gesture 

To the people who have volunteered their time and help during the recent flooding, thank you! Thank you for filling the sand bags and delivering them to the flooded, thank you for piling them up, and notifying homeowners of the water levels and predictions. We should all be grateful to these selfless people.

I propose we show our appreciation at the Aydelu or the British Hotel, maybe in a month or so.  Perhaps the Bulletin can organize  the donations, and someone can schedule an event for the helpers and those with homes under water. I will put $100 towards this cause, and hope others will help out as well.
