A real national drug plan?

 

Nationalization of the pharmaceutical industry is Canada's only means to prevent profiteering and manipulation by Big Pharma.   Private profit or shareholders' gain should not be a part or a player anywhere within our health system. That goes from Big Pharma to the gigantic US health-care corporations.  Health care is a human necessity; it must not be privatized.
    If corporations are able to provide health care -- and still make a profit -- so can our governments. There is a lot of waking-up to be done in Canada, and it's a shame that health always becomes a political issue where one side is fighting for the negative just because it's "their" program! We could use the corporate profits to add dental or eye-care in our national health-care program.
