A correction on watering

 

I enjoy the Bulletin every week - thanks to you and your team. Just noticed an oversight that might result in fines for readers, so sending along a correction, in case you haven't caught it already.

In the Bulletin’s June 28 edition, page 9, an item in English on Gatineau’s watering restrictions says, "Manual watering, washing vehicles and filling pools is permitted at all times."

But on page 23, the same topic in French states, "L'arrosage manuel d'un terrain, le lavage d'un véhicule ou d'un bâtiment ainsi que le remplisage d'une piscine sont permis tous les jours, sauf les lundis."

A check of Gatineau’s web page indicates that "sauf les lundis" - ie. no watering on Mondays, is correct.  A note in your paper might save someone a fine.
