A bilingual Ottawa?

 

I couldn’t help but smile at the blind optimism in Mr. Ryan’s editorial and Mr. Normand’s letter regarding the long suffering debate about the bilingual status of Ottawa. I can guarantee you that this proposal will be met with a wall of hostility from our Anglophone “friends” across the river as well as a calculated indifference from Mr Mayor Watson who knows full well that his support for such a proposal would spell the end of his tenure as mayor of Ottawa.

 

Why not ask for a bridge across Lake Deschenes while we’re at it?
