High-power soccer program for grade 5 & 6 pupils
The Commission Scolaire Portage-de-l'Outaouais is launching a new soccer program for its 5th and 6th grade students. The French-language board is seeking a dozen students to participate in this new sports-study program in partnership with the Association Soccer de Hull.
Interested students must register and participate in a player evaluation on April 24 at Branchaud-Brière, between 9 and 11 am. Those students selected will get 75 minutes of training after school daily, between 3:30 pm and 4:45 pm, in a gym or on a pitch. In total, students will receive 200 hours of training focused on individual development, tactical training, and more.
The program, which starts September 2016, will assist students with potential to develop their skills in an after-school program. Cost are $650 per student, for the school year. The fees cover uniforms, league fees, and daily supervision by a qualified coach.
