Heritage College collars crucial collaborator

The Heritage College Foundation released important news for Heritage’s fundraising campaign, August 20. Michel Drouin, Chair of the Fundraising Campaign, was all smiles announcing that BRIGIL Construction has become Heritage’s first matching donor.
With this new partnership, BRIGIL will match donations to a maximum of $100,000. For every dollar donated to the campaign by alumni, parents (current & former), students, College employees (current & former) as well as College and Foundation administrators, BRIGIL will match it, doubling contributions for the CEGEP.
“BRIGIL’s support of Heritage is an important investment towards building strong communities. Heritage College is a major socio-economic player, contributing to the qualified workforce in the Outaouais,” Mr Drouin stated.
This new partnership will aid the college reach its one-million dollar goal much faster. Caryl Green, Mayor of Chelsea and Chair of the Foundation, recognized this. “The Foundation is delighted to announce that we have achieved over half of our goal: to date, we have received campaign pledges of $505,000! We are now seeking the support of the entire Heritage family,” she stated.
These funds will help support student perseverance bursaries ($500,000), services for students with special needs ($200,000), plus teaching technologies and various equipment ($300,000).
